The Beckman Microfuge 20R refrigerated microcentrifuges are precisely designed to meet your application needs: nucleic acid and protein preparation; pelleting, extractions, purifications, concentrations, phase separations and receptor binding; and rapid sedimentation of protein precipitates, particulates and cell debris.

The Microfuge 20 Series Microcentrifuges offers high g-force (20627 x g) for optimal pelleting. Its maintenance-free motor spins up to 15000 rpm. The Microfuge 20R maintains 4°C at maximum speed to protect precious samples perfect for DNA, RNA, proteins and virus cell isolation.

Testing
Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly.
We also test refrigeration to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. We measure tolerance and fully clean the exterior and interior of all units. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor, we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
