Eppendorf 5430R description
The 5430R model features advanced refrigeration with pre-cooling, allowing the chamber temperature to be set between -11°C and +40°C, ensuring reliable performance for temperature-sensitive protocols such as DNA/RNA extraction, protein isolation, and cell pelleting. The CFC-free compressor system offers rapid cooling to 4°C in under 10 minutes, even at maximum speed.
The intuitive spin control S interface includes a bright LCD display, rotary knob navigation, and programming for up to 50 user-defined protocols. Additional features include fast temp, SOFT brake function, and automatic rotor recognition for enhanced safety and ease of use. The FA-45-30-11 rotor is constructed of anodized aluminum, includes an aerosol-tight, autoclavable rotor lid, and supports up to 30 standard 1.5/2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes.
Designed to save bench space without compromising performance, the 5430R measures only 12.6” W x 24.2” D x 11.8” H, making it suitable for space-limited labs while still offering the high-capacity performance of a floor-model centrifuge.

Testing
All of our refurbished equipment undergoes a rigorous in-house inspection and testing process to ensure full functionality and compliance with manufacturer specifications. Units are cleaned, calibrated, and include our standard warranty.
We test the performance of all centrifuges. The rotating assembly is properly balanced. The bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly.
We also test refrigeration to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly. We measure all tolerances and clean the exterior and interior of all units. If the unit includes a rotor, we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.
