The Nuaire NU425-600 LabGard Class II Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet can be either exhausted back into the room or connected to a facility HVAC system. The cabinet’s airflow is 30% exhausted / 70% recirculated to minimize cross-contamination of low to moderate risk biologicals in the absence of volatile toxic chemicals.
The Touchlink control system is an easy-to-use touch screen LCD which will operate and display all system functions. Mounted in the middle of the canopy, the Touchlink screen provides controls for the on / off functions, fluorescent and germicidal ultraviolet lights, blower motor, and interior outlets. It also monitors high / low limits for downflow, inflow, and sliding window position. The password protected TOUCHLINK also contains a unique date/clock display and timer function which can be used as a laboratory timer, to set purge cycles, outlet timer, UV light timer, auto-run timer, night setback, or weekend turn-off.

Testing
Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test each bio safety cabinet to insure that the controls and blower motor work properly. Unless otherwise specified all bio safety cabinets come with new HEPA filters installed by our technicians at our facility prior to shipment. Our testing procedure includes all the elements of a bio safety cabinet certification in order to insure that the unit will pass certification once it is at your site.

Please bear in mind that the equipment shown is currently in storage in our warehouse and that in addition to testing each machine we will clean all the equipment thoroughly prior to shipment. We often have multiple units of each model in stock and sometimes we’re unable to feature photos of every single unit. At your request, we can provide photos of the equipment in your order after it has been tested and cleaned.
