The Sheldon Manufacturing 2440 CO2 Incubator is a large capacity incubator designed for keeping tissue culture flasks, cell factories or roller bottle rack systems, or any other sample configuration that requires a large capacity chamber at a constant temperature and CO2 level. It is ideal for cell harvesting.

Features
The Sheldon 2440 Incubator offers a spacious interior, featuring four electrical outlets and a reinforced floor with recessed channels for easy movement of equipment like roller racks. Engineered for superior temperature uniformity, it uses forced air circulation to ensure all samples incubate at the same rate while eliminating cold spots. The air jacket design allows for a quick and hassle-free setup, making it convenient for laboratory use.
This incubator maintains exceptional temperature uniformity of ±0.25°C at 37°C, with a display and setpoint resolution of 0.1°C. It features an infrared CO2 sensor, and after resealing the chamber door, CO2 recovery typically takes less than five minutes, depending on the setpoint. Alarm conditions activate when the CO2 level varies by ±1% or if the temperature deviates by ±1°C.
The unit measures 41”W x 34”D x 87”H externally, with an interior chamber size of 35”W x 26”D x 76.5”H. It includes five shelves, adjustable in half-inch increments, allowing for flexible storage configurations.
Testing
The Sheldon 2440 is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test ovens using a digital data logger to verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts. If it’s a CO2 incubator, we use a Fyrite indicator to measure CO2 levels in the chamber and confirm the accuracy of the onboard display. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and clean all incubators thoroughly prior to shipment.
Additionally, if you have specific testing requirements or requests, please inform us. We will gladly work with you to ensure these requirements are addressed during testing.
