The Stirling Ultracold Undercounter Freezer model SU105UE is a compact ultra-low temperature freezer. It is ideal for personal storage and situations where larger volume ULT freezers might otherwise remain half empty. It delivers full performance ultra-low storage for undercounter, benchtop or stacked installation.

Stirling Ultracold Undercounter Freezer model SU105UE Features
These undercounter freezers feature a 3.7 cu.ft. cabinet that delivers stable, uniform -20°C to -86°C storage at a fraction of the operating cost of conventional cascade refrigeration systems. The SU105UE models combine the performance of a unique free-piston Stirling engine with an efficient, thin-wall, non-CFC urethane foam and vacuum insulated cabinet. This permits high-performance, ultra-low temperature storage capacity in an undercounter, benchtop, or stacked cabinet configuration.
The Stirling integral control, alarm, and monitoring system includes an intuitive graphic user interface to display operating temperature, reserve cooling capacity, status functions, and performance metrics for field troubleshooting. Secure touchpad inputs permit access to and programming for all control functions and alarm setpoints.
The SU105UE models have an auto-voltage range of 85V to 264V, 50 or 60Hz. This auto-voltage capability allows the SU105UE models to operate on any outlet without factory modification (the user will need to install the specific cord that fits their receptacle).
Testing
Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians verify the accuracy of temperature controls and readouts of all freezers, making sure that the units hold temperature to within the manufacturer specified tolerance. We replace any hardware or parts as is necessary and if needed replace refrigerant. We clean all freezers thoroughly prior to shipment.

A: No, a temperature range this wide is very unusual. The piston free engine, designed and built by Stirling, allows for this wide range, unlike a more typical dual stage compressor model which can only be set from -50°C to -86°C.

A: While we may have storage racks available, they are generally not included in the standard purchase of any of our ultralow freezers. Please call or email us for pricing and availability.
Q: How do you test the Stirling SU105UE to insure proper functionality?
A: Our technicians run each ultralow freezer in our shop for an extended period of time (anywhere from seven to twenty days, depending on make, model, customer preference, performance history, etc.) to make sure that the unit reaches and holds temperature at the set point. We typically test these units on an empty load, meaning that there are no samples in the chamber during testing. We also examine each SU105UE for signs of wear, corrosion, or damage, and verify other key performance specifications such as recovery time after door opening, built-in data logging, and other functions.
