The Thermo Fresco 21 microfuge offers an RCF of up to 21,100 x g which can reduce spin times 20% compared with typical RCF 17,000 x g models.

Fast acceleration and deceleration and a maximum noise level of a quiet 56 dBA at 14,800 rpm. A timer function allows timed runs between 1 minute and 99 minutes. Controls are intuitive with an easy to read display. The small footprint makes it ideal in a crowded lab or busy workspace.

Testing

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and make sure the rotating assembly is properly balanced; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly.

We test to make sure that refrigerated centrifuges reach and hold temperature properly. We measure all tolerances and clean the exterior and interior of all centrifuges. We test all rotor/centrifuge combinations together.
