Thermo Savant SPD2010 Speed Vac concentrator

The Thermo Savant SPD2010 Speed Vac concentrator is a fully integrated system with a concentrator, vacuum pump and cold trap. This complete system can be used for solvent evaporation, sample concentration and drying. A simple, single-program system allows users to pre-heat the unit and set the temperature, heat and run times, as well as ramp rates and vacuum level.

 This Thermo Savant SPD2010 also features a radiant cover to increase efficiency and rapidity in evaporation. The vacuum ramping and pressure controls eliminate sample bumping and help maintain integrity. The cold trap operating temperature is -50°C.

Most of our equipment is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test the performance of all centrifuges and balance the rotating assembly; the bearings, seals and gaskets on the spindle assembly are in good shape; and the controls work properly. We test refrigeration to make sure that the machine reaches and hold temperature properly.

All tolerances are measured and the exterior and interior of all units are fully cleaned. If the unit is being purchased with a rotor we test the rotor/centrifuge combination together.

Our technicians inspect all rotors, including any buckets, gaskets and overspeed disks. When possible we run each rotor in a compatible centrifuge to make sure the rotor spins properly.
