Thermo Scientific CryoExtra 20 high-efficiency storage solutions provide outstanding sample protection for scientific research with uniform cryogenic temperatures throughout the vessel. Automated temperature monitoring and microprocessor-based LN2 level control provide peace-of-mind for valuable samples by using thermocouples accurate to +/- 1°C. Ease of use is ensured with built-in steps, flat workspace, and ergonomic lids. All vessels are designed to accommodate both vapor and liquid phase storage.

Requires 22psi low-pressure LN₂ supply tank. The CryoExtra accepts both vertical and horizontal racks. It features outstanding temperature uniformity thanks to vacuum-insulated stainless-steel vessel; a large LED temperature display; lockable lid for sample protection; advanced temperature monitor and alarms; a convenient, built-in workspace, and a folding step for user comfort.

Four thermistors monitor both the fill and control LN2 levels to ensure proper levels. Self-diagnostics ensure reliable sensor functioning. Monitor features: current temperature display, high temperature alarm, LN2 level and alarms, sensor fail alarm and filling status.

Testing

Most of the equipment we sell is used and reconditioned. Our technicians test all equipment to confirm that it operates properly and to the manufacturer’s specifications. While we can’t test for a specific analytical application, we will do our best to simulate the conditions under which the equipment will be run.

If you have particular testing requirements or requests please let us know and we’ll work with you to make sure these requirements are addressed during testing.
